This album is a small collection of studio material consisting of rock, funk, blues and jazz. Using minimal production, tracks 1-9 (except drums) were recorded on a KORG D888 8 track digital recorder. Tracks were then transferred to computer to further edit in Reaper software. For the final mix I used the TDR VOS SlickEQ with the "soviet crisis" setting. Also "MOLOT", a Russian compressor was used along with "Limiter 6" Limiter. A couple other tunes were recorded on my rebuilt 2011 computer. I wanted to test out the recording process with the new rebuild. So far so good.....Anyway I was aiming at a more "raw" sound for the most part....not trying for a fancy slick shiny studio production, but more of a "demo" type of sound.
